Update : we are discharged and heading home tomorrow after only 3 days in the recovery ward!
April 4: Wow what a great past couple days! Kora went back to bottle feeding like a champ! Her NG tube for feeds came out yesterday as she was doing so well with feeding! Discharge is coming soon, as soon as tomorrow, as late as Thursday IF nothing major happens! We couldn't be more thrilled! Swipe to see her beautiful face without tubes ❤️ she is smiley, giggly and back to herself! We are getting into the rythym of being the medication administrators for her. She has quite the list of meds she will be going home on, including one via injection 2x a day so we've now been trained on administering that one. It's a whole different world having a medically complex child. It's been a roller-coaster of emotions through all this. It's not something I'd wish on anyone, but we have been given the cards we have and are so thankful for the Lord preparing us for this journey and walking with us every step of the way. We have witnessed miracles through all this, and unexplainable amounts of peace at different points throughout this out.

Any update with Kora? How's she doing these days? At my 20 weeks scan we found out our daughter will have ccTGA, has dextrocardia and a hole in her heart. I'm due late November so trying to research as much as possible till then. Thank you so much for sharing your story! It's helped me to come to terms with what we might be expecting 💜
We are rejoicing with you all! Go team Kora! 🙌🏽🙏🏻
