Newest update - December 21, 2025

I would like to apologize for not updating on here for a very long time. Life has gotten consistently busier and I have been struggling to find time to sit an update all of our pages regarding everything with Kora.

Kora turned 3 in August, became a big sister to a little sister in July and has been thriving since surgery! Everything has been fairly status quo since her last surgery so there really hasn’t been much updates for her, until now. Last month (November 2025) we went for another heart cath to see how things were looking internally as we are now in the time frame when the next surgery usually happens. Everything was looking pristine for her but because of her age, now is the time when surgery will be happening. We are expecting to receive our call to head back to Edmonton at any time. The surgical team in Edmonton has her listed for mid January. She is considered elective which means we are not a high priority. This means we could be called as early as this month or later into spring. The surgery needs to happen prior to her turning 4 at the end of August.

I will try to update here more frequently going forward as we have some new followers who will be waiting for updates here. Continued prayers are greatly appreciated as we navigate this time again, now with a child who is much more aware of everything happening.
