Update #3 (March 25th)

The 25th was our worst day so far. Kora has had a few spells where her oxygen has plummeted to 30-50%. It got low enough that she was starting to turn blue and they almost had to reintubate. She is stabilized now again in the 70s, with 100% oxygen through a tube along with a medication to help keep her lungs open. Her lung is still partially collapsed which is not helping matters. We are currently on a wait-and-see approach. Our two options at this point are that she will either be able to start weaning off the excess supportive breathing methods, or they have to open her up for another surgery to change something inside. Obviously the first option is the preference as a second surgery would come with many additional risks.
